As an organization with roots in youth travel, Authentic Israel understands what it takes to provide a safe and secure travel experience in Israel. Although safety will always be our primary concern, we are equally committed to providing you with meaningful and entirely enjoyable experience. It is our sincere belief that these two elements of the program do not need to be mutually exclusive.

Our approach to security and safety in Israel is layered. Some elements are standard across all Authentic Israel programs and others are elective according to the discretion of our clients.

Smart Itinerary Planning
Planning itineraries to avoid crowded public areas or restaurants/sites without proper security policies.

Security/Medical Escort (optional)
Security and medical escort service throughout the trip (typical for youth and many group family tours) 

Security Room Oversight
Oversight from Israel's "Situation Room", a government-sponsored service that monitors travel programs (typical for youth tours)

Protection from the Sun
Ensuring a safe environment by ensuring proper attire and hydration under the hot Israeli sun.
