TERRI’S ANGELS – VOLUNTEER FOR ISRAEL

“Our lives no longer belong to us alone; they belong to all those who need us desperately.” – Elie Wiesel

FEBRUARY 16 — FEBRUARY 19 or 22, 2026

Since October 7, 2023 the concept of “Tikkun Olam” (Hebrew for repairing the world) has taken on a new and significant focus, supporting the people of Israel to help in their struggle and survival. That’s where the volunteers of Terri’s Angels have come together and stepped up to the meet the challenge.

As a small grassroots group of donors and volunteers, in a year’s time, we have given our time, energy, efforts and love. The funds we raised together totaled over $250,000, which has gone directly towards purchases of crucial items necessary to the survival and performance of our beloved IDF soldiers fighting on the front lines of this ongoing war.

Terri’s Angels is a mighty united force that has helped thousands in so many ways and we have the videos from grateful soldiers to prove it. They have actually told us how much our love, kindness and support have made a tremendous difference. This trip to Israel represents the coming together of our US team, along with our Israeli team, to continue our efforts to give back to the people and to the land of Israel in their time of great need.

Let’s continue to support our brothers and sisters, show solidarity and exemplify Tikkun Olam together and united – Am Yisrael Chai!!!

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

IN THEIR WORDS

Looking for inspiration from the volunteers who have come before you? Read these reviews from the inaugural Terri's Angels volunteer mission in October 2025.

IN RONI'S WORDS
No words can truly sum up my incredible time in Israel with Terri’s Angels Authentic Israel Mission.

The week was spent with amazing people volunteering at various sites throughout Israel with Terri’s Angels. Terri and Yael with our incredible guide Nitsan made our trip meaningful, joyful, educational and gave us tremendous insight to what is truly going on in Israel. We shared our happiness and sadness with smiles and sometimes tears but with strong determination to help and assist in anyway we could.

I urge anyone who is thinking about going back to Israel, “JUST DO IT!” Terri Ackerman is running another Terri’s Angels Authentic Israel Mission trip in February. With so much love in my heart I feel truly blessed to have had this opportunity to go back to Israel.

IN ROBIN'S WORDS
This incredible journey is still with me. It lives in my mind, my heart, and my soul. The amazing people we met and the remarkable things they’re doing—supporting soldiers, displaced civilians, wives of reservists, widowed women…the list goes on and on—left an unforgettable mark.

I will be forever grateful to have taken part in this journey and to have shared it with such strong, soulful individuals. And last but certainly not least—Nitsan, thank you for sharing your vast knowledge with such heartfelt emotion and humor. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

IN SONDRA'S WORDS
Still digesting a trip that far exceeded my expectations…. To feel such belonging and sense of purpose is what Terri Ackerman⁩ did for me. To be with like-minded people sharing the same emotions was so special. Being in Israel with over 20 strangers, where we were immediately connected to a common goal of “Am Yisrael Chai. We volunteered, we laughed, we cried, we bore witness, and we reveled in our shared history as Jews.

A journey to be remembered forever.

IN LISA'S WORDS
Sharing this emotional journey with volunteers and donors of Terri’s Angels has been truly enlightening. Together, we got to share in the food, the rituals, the colors, the pain, the beauty, the joy, and everything in between. We got to spend time with the soldiers and provide them with tasty hot meals. You could just feel the gratitude and gratefulness from them. They truly expressed from their hearts how much it means that people from the US still care for their well-being and support them. They told us that our donations and actions gives them the strength and courage to carry on. Through this incredible trip, I’ve made lifelong friendships! I highly recommend this trip to all! A life-changing opportunity and experience!

IN RAY'S WORDS
What struck me most was the incredible bond that formed among our group. Despite being strangers at the beginning, we came together through our shared experiences and supported one another through both uplifting and challenging moments. The sense of camaraderie and purpose was palpable, and I know that the connections we made will last a lifetime.

If your conscience is calling you to make a difference and be part of a community that's dedicated to supporting those in need, I urge everyone to join the next mission. The organizers of the mission, the incredible Terri Ackerman and her Israeli cousin counterpart Yael, are now planning the next mission, and I have no doubt it will be just as impactful. The eyes are the window to the soul and you will not forget the images that you will see, the sites that you will visit, the bonds that will be created, and most of all the people you will meet.
