VOLUNTEER IN ISRAEL | JULY 22-28, 2025
In response to the October 7th attacks, Israelis of all backgrounds have united around a collective volunteering effort in support of the displaced border communities and the security services' mission.
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland invites adults of all ages to tap into this national volunteering drive — for the people of Israel, in the land of Israel, while the needs are greatest. Together we will volunteer 4-6 hours a day, bear witness, and stand in solidarity with the people of Israel.

ALTERNATIVE VOLUNTEER TRIPS FOR AGES 18-50 AND AGES 15-18
Travelers age 18-50 are eligible for an 8- to14-day volunteer trip generously subsidized by Birthright Israel. High school teens are invited to a 10-day volunteer experience organized with BBYO.

TRAVEL GUIDANCE
A VIP airport greeting and transfer to our hotel will be provided for anyone arriving to Ben Gurion Airport between 6:00am and 5:35pm on July 22nd. Guaranteed hotel check-in is available starting at 3:00pm (luggage can be stowed earlier). On the final evening of the program, a transfer will be provided back to Ben Gurion Airport in time for flights taking off from Israel between 11:00pm on July 28th and 1:00am on July 29th.
ENROLLMEMT TERMS
- A $1,000/person deposit is due to the Jewish Federation of Cleveland with your registration and is non-refundable 60 days prior to the program start date
- All program costs are in US Dollars
- The balance is due no later than 45 days prior to the program start date after which payments are non-refundable
Unique exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis and the discretion of the program organizers - Cancellations must be made in writing
- Participation is limited to 25 travelers, and any excess hotel rooms are typically released within 30 days of the program start date
- The Jewish Federation of Cleveland and Authentic Israel reserve the right to deny participation according to its sole discretion
